November 1 Announcements

Ward Walkabout Sunday, November, 1 at 4 p.m. will be a ward walkabout.  We will be visiting 5 member homes for a chance to meet some of the new members of the ward. Please remember to follow the Governor's guidelines by wearing masks and practicing social distancing. Relief Society Newsletter Stake Blood Drive The Stake will be hosting a blood drive with the Red Cross on Thursday, November 12th from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stake Center. There is currently an increased need for blood as COVID-19 has put a serious strain on blood supply. The Red Cross is taking extra precautions to ensure your donation experience is safe (see more information in the links below). As an added benefit to donation, the Red Cross is currently offering free COVID-19 antibody testing as a part of your donation. Hello Brothers and Sisters, On Sunday, November 1 at 4 pm we will be having a ward walkabout. We will have designated homes for ward members to visit.   This will better help us get to know our neighbors and new ward members a little better. Emergency Preparedness Exercise

Hello Brothers and Sisters, Tonight, October 22, our neighborhood is holding an emergency preparedness exercise from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. All we need to do is to find our emergency placard/door hangers and put them on our front doors at 6:30 PM. Area volunteers will practice canvassing our neighborhood to see who has the placards available. If you do not have a door placard/hangar, please contact Ned Rogers at johndeerened@gmail.com . Tithing Settlement

Dear Brothers and Sisters, It is time to begin tithing settlement for the year.  Tithing settlement will be generally handled virtually.  Other arrangements will be made for those who cannot meet virtually. Every ward member 8 years old and up should participate in tithing settlement. To sign up, go to https://parkwest.appointlet.com and select tithing settlement from the list of options.  After signing up, we will send you the link to the meeting. Please review your tithing statement by looking at your donations after going to https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org and logging into your member account. October 11 Lesson Information
