Relief Society

Hello Dear Sisters!

We hope you are all happy and well! As we've been studying this week about spiritual gifts I keep thinking of all of you and the wonderful gifts each of you has. Every person on earth has a gift, each of you has marvelous gifts that you can use to help build the Kingdom of God and strengthen those around you. Please come and join with us, we need your gifts and perspectives, your abilities and your love!Speaking of love, I hope you know how MUCH you are loved by the Lord and by us. We do not care what you kitchen or bedroom, or hair, or car, or clothes look like, we love you! It does not matter what size your house is, or your laundry pile, or your clothes or your bank account, we love you! No matter what you've done or haven't done, or where you've been or where you are in life's journey, we LOVE you! Please remember that! We are not judging we are just loving. We love/would love to be a part of your lives, to know you and learn from you and serve with you!We hope you all have a very happy Mothers Day and know that as daughters of God you are all mothers and you all are so important and vital to the work of the Lord each in your own sphere of influence!Sincerely, your Relief Society Presidency(~Ruth Landeen)

"Motherhood is more than bearing children, though it is certainly that. It is the essence of who we are as women. It defines our very identity, our divine stature and nature, and the unique traits our Father gave us. . . As daughters of our Heavenly Father, and as daughters of Eve, we are all mothers and we have always been mothers. And we each have the responsibility to love and help lead the rising generation." Sheri L. Dew (October 2001)

I'm Shanan Ence! My husband Zack and I have an 18 month old and another girl coming this December. We've only been in the ward since the beginning of April. We moved here from Chandler, AZ and into our first home! Zack works as a contractor on HAFB as an electrical engineer and I stay at home and work super part time when my boss has work for me. We both graduated from BYU and are super excited to be in the ward and someday get to know everyone :).

My husband Spencer and I moved into the ward about 6 weeks ago, from Sandy.

This is our first home as well. We are happy to have an endless project with it. We have 3 children ages 2,1, and 4 months. I graduated from BYUI. My husband is a mechanical engineer and I get my dream job of mother and homemaker:). I love to do things with family (between my husband and I we have a lot!). I love the out of doors, to hike, play sports, sing/play music, read, work outside, discuss the gospel, learn about most anything, teach and play with children etc. We are excited to be in the ward and hope to get to know everyone soon! I am also eager to get to know all of you and serve with you!
