Information on Returning to Weekly Sacrament Meeting
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As many of you have heard, we have the opportunity to return to weekly sacrament meeting. It has been wonderful to be with you and we look forward to being with you more frequently. We are sure that many of you have questions and we will attempt to answer those questions in this email.
Sacrament Meeting
- Weekly sacrament meeting will begin on September 27.
- Sacrament Meeting will take place each week at 9 AM in the chapel.
- We can have up to 150 people in the session.
- During the last few months, we have averaged about 110 people. Because of this, we do not feel it necessary to divide the ward at this time. We will evaluate this on a weekly basis.
- If our attendance goes above 150, we will assign families to attend on specific weeks.
- All are invited to attend, however, we understand there may be some of you may not feel comfortable returning yet and that is okay.
- For those who choose not to attend or are unable to attend in person, sacrament meeting will be broadcast over YouTube.
- Sacrament meeting will start at 9AM and will be about 30-40 minutes. The sacrament will be administered after the meeting and will not be broadcast.
- We are still being asked to wear masks and practice social distancing. Also, please remember to stay at home if you are or a family member is sick.
Administering the Sacrament at Home
- Beginning September 27, the blanket permission to administer the sacrament in your homes is no longer in effect.
- Those who choose not to attend or are unable to attend will still be able to administer the sacrament in their homes, however, they will need to reach out and obtain authorization from the Bishop.
- Those who receive authorization to administer the sacrament in their homes will only be authorized to administer it immediately following the sacrament meeting broadcast (at the same time those in the chapel are taking it).
- For those who do not have a priesthood holder in the home and are unable to attend, we will have the sacrament brought to your home.
- There will be some exceptions to this guidance, however, those will be handled on a case by case basis with the Bishop.
2nd Hour Classes and Quorum Meetings
- Beginning September 27, 2nd hour meetings will be broadcast over Zoom to your homes at 10:30 AM
- Sunday school classes will be held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays.
- Relief Society, Young Women, and Priesthood Classes will be held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
- Primary classes will not be held at this time.
- These Zoom meetings will be limited to 40 minutes.
- The link will be posted on our ward blog https://parkwestwardnews.

We love you and look forward to being with you again.
Sincerely,
The Park West Ward Bishopric
